Getting There
By Train From Penn Station
We recommend taking the LIRR — it’s the most relaxed way to arrive. Plan to be at Penn Station by 10:45 AM to give yourself time to purchase your ticket and find the platform.

Food & Drinks
Lunch Is On Us
A full lunch will be provided, ordered from a great local deli near the dock. The day before each event, you’ll receive a link to the menu so you can place your order in advance — there will be plenty of options to suit different tastes.
Drinks, including water and a selection of beverages, will be available on board throughout the day.
Watch for an email the day before with your menu link. Place your order in advance so it’s ready when you arrive at the dock.
On the Water
Swimming in the Long Island Sound
Swimming is planned as part of the day, subject to conditions on the water. We’ll be sailing the open Long Island Sound, which generally holds strong water quality ratings away from near-shore areas.
Swimsuit
Wear your swimsuit under your outfit or pack it in your bag. Bring a light cover-up.
Life Jackets Available
Life jackets are available on board for anyone who wants one, regardless of swim ability.
Weather Dependent
If conditions aren’t right on the day, we’ll skip the swim and enjoy the sail instead.
What to Wear
Smart Casual, Sea-Ready
Think light, breathable fabrics with a relaxed nautical spirit. You’ll be on deck in the sun, so comfort and practicality matter.
- Linen or cotton tops and trousers
- Sundresses, chinos, or relaxed shorts
- Boat shoes, loafers, or flat sandals
- Hat and sunglasses
- Swimsuit underneath if swimming
- High heels or stilettos — unsafe on deck
- Hard-soled shoes that can mark the deck
- Heavy jeans or thick fabrics
- Athleisure or gym wear

We want you to have the best possible day on the water. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll move the event to the next available open Friday and notify all guests by email as early as possible.
