We’re proud to celebrate eight years of Scout—eight years of designing smarter, more adaptable lighting solutions for the architects, designers, and contractors who inspire us every day.

Founded in New York, Scout began with a simple idea: lighting should be intelligently engineered, modular, and built for real‑world performance. What started as our founder Alex Nicolaides’ vision has grown into a national brand represented across the U.S. and Canada. After years of developing standout products and opening factories dedicated to linear LED lighting, Alex set out to build something truly his own. That drive led to a patented LED system that still anchors every Scout product today.

Since then, we’ve earned six product innovation awards and built a team of designers and sales professionals—led by Shakil Ahmed—who thrive on close collaboration with the A&D community. Working side‑by‑side with designers to bring bold ideas to life is what fuels us.
